WHAT'S NOT ON MY RESUME
PASSION FOR AVIATION
My first ever flight in a general aviation aircraft was on a Piper Super Cub when I was 14. I was offered a free flight as part of the Young Eagles Program which was sponsored by the Experimental Aircraft Association. Since then, I have pursued aviation as a passion and as a career. I am someone who can look up to the sky and instantly name the flying aircraft above. I refer to cities by their airport codes and I always take the window seat when flying.
FIRST-GENERATION COLLEGE GRADUATE
I was the first in my family to pursue a college degree and graduate. Statistically speaking, the odds were against me, with only 27% of all first-gen students completing their degree in four years. I did not let adversity stop me in my pursuit of higher education. Since my freshman year, I've worked 25-30 hours a week while being a full-time student, held prominent leadership roles on campus, received various scholarships and awards, and participated in the Stanford Graduate School of Business Future Leaders Program.
GLOBAL PERSPECTIVE
My family immigrated to the United States from Ukraine in 2005 to join our grandmother who fled the Soviet Union to escape religious persecution. I am now proud to be a U.S. citizen who is civically engaged, thinking globally while acting locally. In addition to English, I am fluent in Ukrainian and Russian. My desire to learn more about international affairs led me to participate in the "Semester a Sea" program where I was able to visit 10 countries in four months. I am committed to being a global citizen and globally engaged professional.

SEMESTER AT SEA
Visited 10 countries in four months in the fall of 2018 while taking four international business classes on the ship, building life-long friendships and making thousands of memories.

SIGMA CHI FRATERNITY
I initiated into the Kappa Phi chapter of the Sigma Chi Fraternity in the Spring of 2016 at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (in Prescott, Arizona). I was elected to serve as Chapter President during the 2017-2018 school year. As president, I managed a $57,000 annual budget, led a seven-person executive team and 22 officers, organized a full-day retreat (focused on strategic planning, SWOT analysis, goal setting and team building), and led the restructuring of bylaws and meeting procedures. Sigma Chi continues to be my second family where I've made long-life friendships and learned to be a values-based leader.
STANFORD MBA
FUTURE LEADER
Selected from a competitive pool of applicants for a 3-day residential pre-MBA program at the Stanford Graduate School of Business in August 2017. The program introduced opportunities to an MBA education and post-MBA career opportunities through class immersion, current students and alumni panels, and leadership workshops. In addition, toured Google headquarters and learned about their career opportunities by connecting with recruiters and current employees. Finished the weekend with an informational session about Stanford and tips on how to successfully apply for the MBA admissions.
ROTARY YOUTH LEADERSHIP AWARD (RYLA)
Participated in an intensive, one-week leadership training program sponsored by Rotary International. The RYLA program was held at Selkirk College located in British Columbia, Canada in the summer of 2015. Using a small-group format with presentations and group discussions, I exposed to topics in emotional and cultural intelligence, effective communication, social responsibility, motivation styles, effective leadership techniques, coping with grief, personal development, group dynamics, ethics, and Rotary's purpose and service to the community.
PRINCETON JSA SUMMER SCHOOL
Admitted to and participated in highly selective economics, public policy and public speaking summer program at Princeton University sponsored by the Junior State of America. Personally fundraised over $6,000 in the span of three weeks to cover the cost of the program (tuition, room and board, flights, etc). During the summer of 2015, I lived on-campus at Princeton, attended class daily and participated in debates, mock congress and political seminars. In addition, visited the United Nations, the Wall Street Journal and JP Morgan in New York City.
